Erotic or Embarrassing? Jessica Simpson & Husband Post ’50 Shades’ Photos

Mother and sometime clothing designer / pop singer Jessica Simpson posted three naughty pics of herself and her hubby, former NFL tight end Eric Johnson, early Sunday morning on Instagram. Inspired by this weekend’s (full) release of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, the images feature the two entwined with the hashtag #FIFTYSHADESOFJOHNSON.

Check them out, in order from clean to dirty.

I’m so in love with you #FIFTYSHADESOFJOHNSON

The couple married in July 2014 in California, and this shoot is evidence of their wedding bliss — and presumed active sex life. Reaction to the Jessica Simpson underwear shots have been mixed, with some applauding the former reality TV star, while others mock her. The benign intimate shots get most of the praise, while the picture of Johnson smacking / grabbing her butt while pulling her leg up across his hips has been getting the ridicule.

On the positive side, Entertainment Tonight sums up many opinions by saying, “…they’re definitely giving stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson a run for their money.” On the opposite end, US Weekly called it “raunchy,” and Gawker’s Defamer website offered this: “Congratulations to Jessica Simpson on her healthy, exciting, married sex life, and best of luck to the nanny who was forced to capture it on film.”
